Since 2001, Charanjit Singh Memorial Institute of Nursing Education has been dedicated to empowering female nursing students by providing a nurturing and growth-oriented environment. The institute ensures that it's students stand out in the real world with confidence and expertise.

Dedicated to excellence, CSM prides itself on offering top-tier education delivered by highly accomplished faculty and staff. It has consistently produced outstanding results, with students securing top positions in state-level nursing examinations in Punjab. Beyond academics, the institute boasts an impressive 15-year-old campus with expansive open spaces, serene lawns and an environment that fosters focused academic pursuits. Its state-of-the-art infrastructure includes spacious well-ventilated classrooms equipped with advanced teaching aids, fully equipped modern laboratories, premium hostel accommodations, recreation and games halls and round-the-clock security with wardens and guards ensuring a safe and enriching environment.

Director's Message

I strongly believe that learning, in itself, is not true knowledge unless combined with thoughtful application. Youth is that golden period of life when knowledge, character, and personality are shaped and educational institutions play a crucial role in creating a unique learning environment that cultivates clarity of thought in youngsters in order to develop dynamic and visionary mindsets.

Driven by a passionate vision, The Charanjit Memorial Educational Society established this nursing institute in 2001 in the memory of my revered father. The institute was founded with the aim of imparting high-quality education in the field of nursing. We remain committed to nurturing competent, dedicated and skilled nurses who not only shine in their profession but also possess a unique personality that enables them to compete on both national and global platforms.

Over the years, the institute has gained recognition and prestige far beyond my expectations. Most of our students every year secure placements in premier healthcare organisations and hospitals, both in India and abroad, reflecting our remarkable success in achieving our mission.

In our continued pursuit of excellence, we are planning to introduce Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing and Basic B.Sc. Nursing programs soon.

Director -Principal's Message

Amrit Kaur Ahluwalia, a distinguished scholar with a postgraduate degree in Community Health from Delhi University and a gold medalist from Punjab University, Chandigarh, brings over 40 years of extensive teaching and administrative experience. She has held key positions, including Registrar of the Punjab Nurses Registration Council and Vice President of the Indian Nursing Council. She has been a prolific author to numerous nursing books and has multiple research articles published in various journals. Her invaluable contributions have played a pivotal role in shaping the nursing education system in Punjab.

It has always been my unwavering ambition to establish a nursing institute that offers a diverse range of courses in nursing. The nursing profession has undergone a significant transformation in recent years, making it essential for students of the day to be well-trained to have an edge over their counter parts. We at CSM believe that in the present day, the nursing professionals should be equipped with the necessary skills to excel in today’s dynamic healthcare landscape.

Along with that we assure that modern nursing students must acquire additional competencies to meet the ever-evolving demands of the global healthcare industry. To support this, we provide advanced teaching aids, fully equipped laboratories with state-of-the-art technology and a well-stocked library with an extensive collection of nursing books. Our curriculum emphasizes on hands-on practical training, structured learning methods, personality development along with sports and co-curricular activities. These innovative teaching strategies enable us to shape students into highly competent nursing professionals who meet global standards and fulfill both their own and their parents' aspirations.
